Kirov residents were reminded about discounts on electric trains: who will be able to travel cheaper.

      The seasonal discount of 50% off the full cost of travel on suburban rail transport in the Kirov region will take effect from April 15 and will last until October 15, 2026. It applies to labor veterans, rear workers, as well as men over 60 and women over 55 years old.

      The discount amount is 50% of the full cost of travel. At the same time, certain categories of citizens are entitled to free travel. For example, victims of political repression can use suburban trains free of charge throughout the year.

      The basis for receiving the benefit is documents confirming the right to social support — a certificate from social protection authorities or the MFC, or information from the state digital system.

      However, not everyone will be able to take advantage of the benefit. It is not provided to citizens who do not reside in the Kirov region, as well as those who are already included in the federal register of recipients of support measures. In addition, restrictions apply to beneficiaries with an income above 1.5 times the living wage and those who have not formalized their right to the benefit through social protection.
