In Kirov, the annual voting for improvement projects under the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program has begun. Residents of the city can choose the areas that will be renovated in 2027.
As reported by the press service of the city administration, during the implementation of the program, 428 public spaces and courtyards have already been updated in the regional center. This year, work will take place in Victory Park — it received the highest number of votes last year.
Currently, eight areas are offered for Kirov residents to choose from. Among them are the squares on Shchorsa, Leningradskaya, Lenina, Vladimirska, Lepsa streets, as well as at the intersection of Zashchitnikov Otechestva and MOPR streets. Additionally, the list includes the embankment of the Khlunovka River and the pedestrian zone in the Lyangasovo microdistrict.
All residents of Kirov over the age of 14 can participate in the voting. It will last from April 21 to June 12. To vote, one must log in through the "Gosuslugi" portal, select the city, and cast a vote for the preferred area.
The results of the voting will determine which public spaces will be transformed next year.
