In Kirov, it was proposed to take a number of routes from private operators and hand them over to "ATP".
Today, at the meeting of the Duma's transport commission, the operation of bus routes No. 90, 33, and 44 was discussed. According to the head of the transport department, Alexey Mikryukov, there are 13 medium and large class buses operating on route No. 90, with an average interval of 8 minutes during peak hours and up to 18 minutes at other times, with an output in April reaching 85.8%. On route No. 33, there are 12 medium and large class buses, with an interval of 12-13 minutes during peak hours and up to 37 minutes at other times, with an output of 95.6%. On route No. 44, there are 18 medium and large class buses, with an interval of 10 minutes during peak hours and up to 20 minutes at other times, with an output of 88.3%.
It was also mentioned during the meeting that residents of Kirov are complaining about the lack of bus service, particularly on routes No. 90 and 44, in the evening. Complaints have been sent to the carriers. Representatives of the companies stated that it was not their intention to not operate buses and that if they are not running, it means there have been some technical problems, such as vehicle breakdowns.
Deputy Denis Erokhin suggested that if the carriers do not rectify the violations, the routes should be transferred to the municipal enterprise, namely JSC "ATP." The administration promised to consider this.
It was also noted that "ATP" currently lacks 50 drivers. The deputies suggested addressing this issue by raising salaries.
