The inspection was conducted by the Kirov Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office at the request of the regional prosecutor Yuri Ryvaev. It turned out that in January-February 2026, the disposal of solid municipal waste was carried out with violations: garbage was accumulating at container sites in various districts of the city. Violations were recorded on Vladimirskaya, Moskovskaya, Herzen, Popov streets, and several others. A similar situation was also observed in Kirs and the settlement of Svetlopolyansk. As a result, the prosecutor's office submitted a proposal to the management of the regional operator demanding a recalculation of the fees for the periods when the service was provided improperly. The implementation of the requirements is under control, and inspections are ongoing.
