The defendant Saitov called lawyer Ronzhin "a jerk" and "a devil".

      Recall that a criminal case has been opened against the creator of the scandalous "garbage house" at 77 Sovetskaya Street in the town of Sosnovka, which was intended to resettle residents from unsafe housing, under paragraph "v" of part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (exceeding official powers committed with causing grave consequences). Next Tuesday, January 27, the first court hearing in the "Saitov case" will take place.

      Notably, the builder of Russia's most famous "garbage house" — made from semi-rotten second-hand goods and cemetery soil — already in July 2024, while appearing on the program Muzhskoe/Zhenskoe (16+), was so arrogantly confident in his own greatness and impunity that he announced his unwillingness to take part in "some kind of show," calling lawyer Igor Ronzhin a "devil," a "jerk," and a "superficial person." Saitov also said that they were "conducting a big hunt" and that there were supposedly "materials" on Ronzhin and that he would receive a criminal case.

      Today, special attention to the speech of Sosnovka nouveau riche Saitov, still the "right-hand man" of regional Legislative Assembly deputy Ravil Nurgaleev and a prospective candidate for the Legislative Assembly in the new convocation, is drawn by a fragment containing threats against Sosnovka lawyer Igor Ronzhin, which he awkwardly camouflaged as a promise of criminal prosecution.

      At the same time, it is impossible not to recall that the threat against Igor Ronzhin — reportedly made on Saitov's instructions or by another person — was carried out a year after the promise that was aired nationwide on Channel One. Thus, on the evening of August 4, 2025, in the town of Sosnovka, Vyatskopolyansky District, near Ronzhin's mother's house, unknown assailants, one of whom was later identified by the lawyer, sprayed acid in his face and then beat him brutally.

      As a result, the assistant to the "overly independent Sosnovka mayor" Nikita Gorelov suffered severe chemical burns to his eyes, face and body. For more than six months a circular wound on Ronzhin's neck — from the middle of the base of the skull to the Adam's apple — has still not healed, exposing "open flesh, the carotid artery and vessels." The lawyer faces about a dozen eye operations to try to restore his lost sight.

      It should be noted that on January 26 of this year a hearing will be held to choose another preventive measure for 27-year-old Artur Akopyan, who was detained on November 17, 2025 on suspicion of attacking Igor Ronzhin. According to eyewitnesses, "to take the bandit" about fifty people arrived: two minibuses with representatives of the regional Investigative Committee and vehicles carrying SOBR fighters. After sitting in session for about five hours, the Vyatskopolyansky court ordered Akopyan, the only one of the assailants identified by Ronzhin, to be remanded in custody for two months.

      As a source explained, Akopyan's preventive measure will most likely be extended, because having briefly invoked Article 51 (which allows one not to answer investigators' questions), the suspect — who did not actually deny that he had been the perpetrator of the "order" — began to give testimony that will likely "lead to the very top." Thus, replacing the arrested man's remand in custody with a written undertaking not to leave could be dangerous for his own health.

      However, the video obtained by Newsler.ru will not only explain why Sosnovka residents are worried that the district court may hand down a suspended sentence or even acquit Nail Saitov, but will also give cause to reflect on the activities of the district leadership, including its security apparatus.
