      According to Volodin, parents have repeatedly expressed concern that they are unable to obtain information about their children's accounts and transfers. This problem, the speaker noted, had been worked on by deputies earlier.

      As Vyacheslav Volodin pointed out, a federal law has been adopted under which parents or legal representatives will be able to obtain statements on the accounts and deposits of minors until they reach the age of 18. The law comes into force on July 1.

      In addition, as of August 1, 2025, it will be prohibited in Russia to open bank accounts for minors without the consent of their parents or legal representatives.

      The State Duma emphasized that these measures are aimed at protecting children from fraudsters and preventing their involvement in unlawful activities.
