Over the past year, more than 300 illegal dumps were cleared in the Kirov region.

      As reported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region, the dumps were identified and eliminated as part of inspection and oversight activities. The total volume of waste removed amounted to 123,762 cubic meters.

      The agency noted that work to identify and eliminate unauthorized dumps continues. In addition, residents of the region are urged to follow waste-handling rules, not to dispose of garbage outside container sites, and to take part in environmental campaigns under the national project "Environmental Well-Being."
