A resident of Vyatskiye Polyany received 350,000 and faced trial.

      In Vyatskiye Polyany, the investigation into a criminal case against a 33-year-old local resident accused of fraudulently obtaining social benefits has been completed. According to the investigation, in July 2022 the man submitted an application to the local social protection office requesting state assistance to start his own business. He provided false information that he had no other sources of income. After the documents were checked, in August of the same year 350,000 rubles were transferred to him for business development. However, as it later emerged, the man did not intend to start a business. He spent the money on personal needs, violating the terms of the agreement. To compensate for the damage, the court seized the defendant’s property. The investigation has now collected all the necessary evidence, and the criminal case has been referred to court for substantive consideration.
