      On January 18, three fires occurred in Kirov Oblast. The regional office of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on two of them.

      Thus, in Orlovo on Vorontsova Street a two-apartment residential building caught fire (pictured). The fire covered an area of 70 sq. meters. Sixteen people worked at the scene and three units of equipment were used. The cause of the fire is being attributed to an electrical wiring short circuit.

      In the settlement of Rudnichny in Verkhnekamsky District an apartment caught fire. Four people fought the blaze and one unit of equipment was involved. One person was injured. The likely cause of the fire is carelessness while smoking.
