A man came to court with a "pistol."
An incident occurred at the Arbitration Court of the Kirov Region during a routine screening of visitors. Bailiffs responsible for maintaining the established order of the courts were checking the documents and personal belongings of people entering the courthouse.
One of the men had come to the court to obtain an enforcement document. Before passing through the metal detector arch he removed metal objects, yet the device did not register the presence of metal. After the bailiff demanded that he lay out items prohibited from being brought in, the man reported that he had an aerosol sprayer on him and voluntarily handed it over to the officers.
As clarified by the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Kirov Region, the device was made of plastic and looked like a compact pistol. Bringing such items into the courthouse is prohibited because they can pose a threat to the safety of judges, court staff and visitors.
