Route No. 15 expanded: 110-passenger buses entered service
The city transport department reminded that, since January 1, new three-year contracts with carriers and an updated public transport scheme have come into effect in Kirov. Route No. 15 is operated by Transavto LLC.
According to the contract, 12 vehicles will operate on the route in 2026. In addition, since the beginning of January the number of buses has been increased by two high-capacity vehicles — MAZ buses with a capacity of up to 110 passengers.
“Given the increased passenger flow, the interval between buses during peak hours has been reduced to 9–10 minutes, and to 18 minutes during off-peak hours. The first bus goes into service at 5:25, and the last finishes service at 22:51,” the department reported.
The mayor’s office also reminded of other changes to public transport. Since January 1 bus route No. 90 has been extended to the Kurochkiny Sloboda, and a connecting service to CHP‑5 has been organized. Routes along Staromoskovsky Trakt no longer call at the bus station: the terminal stop is now located on Gorky Street, and departures are made from 10 Nekrasova Street. Bus No. 129 reaches the “Agrotechnological University” stop.
It was noted that, as of today, city transport is operating normally. The current timetable is available on the Central Dispatch Service website.
