From 06:00 on January 11 to 06:00 on January 12, the fire and rescue units of the Kirov Region responded to two man-made fires, the regional EMERCOM office reported.
One of the fires occurred in the village of Lipovka in Nagorsky District. A private residential house and an annex caught fire there. The fire covered an area of 140 square meters.
Forces from the EMERCOM of Russia, municipal and volunteer fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the blaze — a total of 15 people and 5 vehicles. EMERCOM cites faulty electrical equipment as the preliminary cause of the fire.
In addition, during the specified period the region recorded three road traffic accidents and other emergency incidents.
