Severe frosts are coming to Kirov Oblast.
An Arctic anticyclone is approaching the Kirov region; it is currently moving in from the Kara Sea. In the coming days it will become part of a powerful Siberian anticyclone. This was reported on the Telegram channel "Amateur Meteorology in Kirov."
By the end of the week this area of high pressure will split into two centers: one will settle over the European part of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, the second over Eastern Siberia. Frosts down to −30 °C and below are expected in those regions.
For the Kirov region this means a sharp drop in temperature and an end to precipitation. Snowfalls will gradually die out, but air temperatures will fall noticeably.
