Children were injured in several accidents in the Kirov region.
On January 6, in the Slobodskoy District on the Kirov–Borovitsa–Batashi highway, a Kia Sportage driven by a 44-year-old woman collided with a Toyota RAV4 driven by a 34-year-old man. After the impact, the Toyota left the road. As a result of the accident both drivers and an 8-year-old girl — a passenger in the Kia — were injured.
On January 8, in the Kotelnichsky District at 64 Khlynovskaya Street in the village of Naimushiny, a Ford Focus and a Lada Granta collided. Both drivers were 32-year-old men. The Lada’s driver and two passengers — a 31-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl — were injured in the crash.
Investigations are being conducted into all the accidents; police officers are determining the circumstances and causes of the incidents.
