On December 9, the parameters of Russia's OSAGO tariff corridor will change. The tariff corridor will be widened by 15% in both directions for all types of vehicles. For motorcycles, the boundaries will shift by 40%.
The Bank of Russia noted that for ordinary owners of passenger cars taking out insurance, the tariff corridor has not changed since September 2022. During that time the average OSAGO payout has increased 1.5 times: in just the first nine months of 2025 it rose by 16% compared with the same period in 2024. At the same time the average cost of a policy over the nine months fell by 4%.
