From January 1 to November 28, 2025, 180.5 tonnes of chicken feet were exported from Kirov Oblast to China. For the region this represents a noticeable uptick: during the same period in 2024 no such shipments were made. The last consignment was sent on November 24. The Rosselkhoznadzor administration for Kirov Oblast, Udmurtia and Perm Krai supervised the shipment of 22.03 tonnes of product. The vehicle equipped with a freezing unit passed inspection and complied with all veterinary and sanitary requirements applicable to the transport of regulated goods. Rosselkhoznadzor noted that the consignment of chicken feet met the veterinary and sanitary standards established by China. The quality of the product was confirmed by laboratory tests carried out in accredited laboratories in Kirov and at the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VNIIZh” in Kazan.
