The corresponding order, signed by the governor of Kirov Oblast, appeared on the government’s website. The construction project for a distribution center was declared "large-scale," which allowed the developer to obtain the land on lease without holding a tender.
It concerns a plot measuring 265,000 square meters, which, to illustrate, is roughly a couple of dozen football fields, located in Kirov. The land is classified as industrial; it is suitable for the construction of warehouses, transport infrastructure and related facilities.
The right to lease for 10 years and six months will be granted to LLC AGAT 43 — the investor in the "Northern Latitude" project. The land is being transferred for the placement of a logistics complex intended for the storage of vehicles, the operation of warehouses, parking areas, catering facilities and even rail infrastructure.
The Ministry of Industry has been instructed to prepare a cooperation agreement between the regional government and the investor within 10 working days. After the document is signed, the Kirov administration must conclude the lease agreement within the same ten-day period.
