Bank deposits, stocks and bonds turned out to be the most popular instruments among Russians for generating additional income, RBC writes.
In the survey, 59% of respondents named bank deposits. Stocks — 50%, government and corporate bonds — 29%, cryptocurrency — 24%, investment funds — 21%, real estate — 18%, life insurance — 15%.
56% of surveyed Russians invest up to 10% of their income in these instruments. One in five — up to 20%, one in eight — up to 30%.
Besides investments, Russians named the following ways to get more money: changing jobs (60%), side jobs (37%), upgrading qualifications or obtaining additional education (31%), selling their own goods or services (16%), and a second job (15%).
