The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia reviewed tariffs for the removal of municipal solid waste in the Central, Northwestern, Volga, Ural, North Caucasian and Southern federal districts. A number of violations were identified, such as incorrect calculation methods, inclusion of items that should not have been included, unjustified specification of certain figures in documents, and so on, which resulted in inflated tariffs. The antimonopoly authorities issued 64 orders to remedy the violations. The FAS ordered the exclusion of 11.32 billion rubles from the 2025 tariffs.
