Oleg Valenchuk: The School for Chairpersons is the most important center for training and the sharing of experience.

      “The Chairpersons’ School in Kirov continues to be the most important center for training and exchange of experience for the leaders of gardening associations. The chairperson is the key figure in any SNT. The comfort of gardeners and how competently and lawfully the association’s work is organized depend on his knowledge and competencies,” emphasizes Oleg Valenchuk.

      At the first meeting of the season a number of topical issues were discussed. Senior state tax inspector of the Department of State Services No. 1 of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Kirov Region, Inna Ustyuzhaninova, reminded the chairpersons about deadlines for paying taxes and submitting tax reports.

      One of the key topics this year will be the gasification of gardening associations. This summer, for the first time under the program for completing gasification, natural gas reached several Kirov SNTs, which aroused great interest and many questions from the chairpersons. Natalya Krivosheina, Deputy General Director for Legal Affairs and Property Relations, noted that to be included in the gasification program an SNT must be located within the boundaries of a gasified settlement and the houses must be intended for permanent residence. Applicants must have registered ownership rights to the land plots and the residential houses located on them.

      This season the Chairpersons’ School will traditionally be held in Kirov on the third Thursday of each month in the Pervomayskaya Administration building. SNT leaders will be able to meet experts in person, receive up-to-date information on changes in legislation and answers to the most difficult questions, and exchange experience with colleagues.
