Four puppies arrived at the regional office of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

Recently, four Belgian Shepherds (Malinois) entered service with the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service in the Kirov Region. The puppies are only four months old; their names are Zeus, Zak, Zenta and Iskra. They arrived from a breeding kennel in Mordovia. The dogs will serve at IK-5 and LIU-12 (Kirovo-Chepetsk), as well as in the Escort/Convoying Department (Kirov). They will be sent there today.

Before the puppies begin performing official duties, they will undergo several months of general and specialized training. In the future they will replace service dogs that, due to age or health, are no longer able to continue performing their duties.
