At the Kirov Oncology Center, an elevator operator sustained injuries.

      On September 25, a 62-year-old lift attendant of the administrative and household service of KOGKBUZ “Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology,” during her work shift when exiting the utility room into the basement corridor, lost consciousness and fell to the floor from standing height. The medical report showed that the head injuries sustained are classified as severe. The cause of the incident was a sudden deterioration in the victim’s health. The accident was classified by the commission as work-related. As reported by Deputy Head of the State Labor Inspectorate A. D. Loginov, the investigation also revealed a violation of labor legislation, namely the failure to provide the worker with personal protective equipment in full. This was not the cause of the accident, but it indicates the employer’s non-compliance with state occupational safety regulatory requirements. At present, consideration is being given to bringing the legal entity and the responsible officials to administrative liability under Article 5.27.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for the identified violations.
