Kirov residents named their favorite deputies.

      The public page "Koroche Kirov" went out into the city's streets and asked passersby to name deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region whose surnames were familiar to them. The poll showed that the majority had difficulty remembering more than one or two parliamentarians, however some surnames were mentioned particularly often by Kirov residents.

      Among those mentioned were Ilgiz Burkhanov, Olga Borisova, Albert Bikaluk, Svetlana Shikhova, Mikhail Kovyazin, Roman Titov, Roman Beresnev and Sergei Mamaev.

      Notably, one of the most frequently mentioned surnames in the survey was Sergei Churin. He was recalled by several respondents — some because he is "well-known," and one interviewee noted that Churin "stood out" at a Legislative Assembly session.
