The administration of Kirovo-Chepetsk has found a new deputy head.

In Kirovo-Chepetsk, a new deputy head of the administration has been appointed — Igor Gagarinov, who was appointed on November 20, has taken the post. He will oversee key areas: housing and communal services, architecture, construction, land management, road activities and beautification.

Notably, from July 2023 until mid-November 2025 Gagarinov headed the Veselovsky district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and earlier he worked for eight years as the first deputy head of the Kirovo-Chepetsk administration. By the way, we previously wrote about how Gagarinov worked in Zaporizhzhia. At that time the Governor of Kirov Oblast, Alexander Sokolov, noted that the official was having a hard time there: "It's hard for him there, but we try to help him. His presence has increased the level of interaction with local residents. We assess his activities as positive."

Under Gagarinov's leadership, the restoration of socially significant facilities was carried out in the territory under his supervision. Read more about this here.

Recall that the post of head of the Kirovo-Chepetsk administration was previously held by Stanislav Kovalenko. On October 29, deputies of the Kirovo-Chepetsk City Duma prematurely terminated Kovalenko's powers. The decision was made at his personal request. Rumors about a possible resignation had been circulating since September, but at that time the administration denied the information, claiming that Kovalenko had merely gone on vacation. A month later his departure was officially confirmed.
