Earlier, amateur meteorologists warned residents of the region about strong winds that are expected to hit Kirov Oblast today, November 19. This is due to the approach of a cyclone, whose cold front will pass across the entire region in the second half of the day.
The Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kirov Region clarified that, according to the Hydrometeorological Center, wind strengthening with gusts of up to 19 m/s is indeed expected this afternoon and evening. Residents are advised to stay away from trees, dilapidated buildings and lightweight structures.
