Authorities in the Kirov Region want to extend the period for granting tax benefits under the simplified tax system.

      At the end of 2022 a law was adopted in our region titled “On establishing in the territory of Kirov Oblast for the tax periods 2023–2025 tax rates for certain categories of taxpayers applying the simplified tax system.” It established tax rates of 1 (3) percent where the object of taxation is income, and 5 (7.5) percent where the object of taxation is income reduced by the amount of expenses. Recently a bill was introduced in the Legislative Assembly proposing to extend these benefits until 2026 to support taxpayers. The Assembly committee supported the initiative. It will be considered at the Legislative Assembly’s plenary session on Thursday.
