Two people were killed on the roads of Kirov Oblast over three days.

      From November 14 to 16, 2025, ten road traffic accidents were recorded on roads in the Kirov Region. A fatal incident occurred in the Sovetsky District, in which two people were killed. Another 13 participants in the accidents sustained injuries of varying severity, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov Region reported.

      During this period, traffic police officers detected 687 traffic violations. Among them were 30 drivers who were behind the wheel while intoxicated or who refused to undergo a medical examination, and 31 drivers who either did not have a driving licence or had been deprived of the right to drive.

      The state traffic inspectorate reminds that driving a car while intoxicated is punishable by suspension of driving privileges for a period of 1.5 to 2 years and a fine of 45,000 rubles.
