The series of falls began yesterday, November 15 — in the morning a Chevrolet Niva collapsed into a pit on Ivan Popov Street. The next accidents occurred the following day — two more passenger cars drove into the hole.
It should be noted that the hole is not cracked asphalt but an excavation by the municipal utility "Vodokanal." Barriers have been set up around it, but that does not stop motorists from "getting trapped." Official sources have not yet reported on the condition of the drivers who fell into the pit.
