A tawny owl with a spinal injury is being rescued in Kirov.

      The "Big Nest" wildlife rescue center received another injured tawny owl. According to specialists, the bird is suspected of having a spinal injury — the owl cannot stand on its feet. Such injuries most often occur after collisions with obstacles, such as wires or glass surfaces. Despite the severe diagnosis and unfavorable prognosis, the center has not lost hope: the bird is eating actively and showing vitality. "The owl and we will still fight for her life — just look how diligently she eats!" the volunteers say. The center is asking for help with the tawny owl's treatment.
