Kirov Oblast will allocate 8 billion for schools and kindergartens.

      As part of the program, it is planned to renovate 47 schools and 14 kindergartens. 3.4 billion rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.

      At the same time, the development of new microdistricts in Kirov continues, where three kindergartens will be built over three years, for which 1.6 billion rubles are provided.

      It is also specified that in 2026 the construction of an extension to the Teremok kindergarten in Sanchursk will be completed. In 2027 a new preschool institution for 100 places will open in Kilmez. And about another 3 billion rubles are planned to be allocated for the construction of three schools and the outfitting of five more in Nolinsk, Kotel'nich and the Dolgushino microdistrict in Kirov, the government added.

      A separate line item of expenditure is for carrying out the directives from Governor Alexander Sokolov’s address. The draft budget includes funds to launch an educational program to train personnel in the field of innovative technologies, "School 21", as well as for the major renovation of the Kirov Physics and Mathematics Lyceum building.
