After the defeat in Khanty-Mansiysk to Yugra (1:2), Olimpiya went to Tyumen for a match against the local Rubin. It was a high-scoring game — the teams scored six goals in regulation time. Our hockey players led twice (1:0 and 3:2), but the hosts managed to send the match into overtime. It produced no winner, and Rubin were better in the shootout. Final — 4:3 in favor of the Tyumen club.
In the standings Olimpiya is 24th out of 32 teams. On Monday they will face HC Zauralye in Kurgan.

I love hockey, but I don't welcome overtimes and shootouts. Brezhnev also loved hockey, and under him there were simply draws, as in football and bandy. We need to bring back the system from when we were the strongest in the world in hockey, even if the Canadians complain.

We should write our own rules and win all the world championships under them
