Another set of gates will be installed in Kirov.

Carved wooden gates will soon appear at the Alexander Grin Museum. Their creation is being carried out by People's master and honorary citizen of the city Gennady Lopatin, together with his wife and his grandson Ivan, the press service of the Kirov Region government reports.

According to the master's design, the gates will be decorated with sea-themed elements: waves, anchors and other symbols close to the writer's work. The structure will be based on a metal frame clad in wood.

The design idea was inspired by the writer's work and the atmosphere of sea adventures that Grin celebrated in his books. The new gates are intended to become an ornament of the renovated museum and a gift for two anniversaries: the 145th anniversary of Alexander Grin's birth and the 45th anniversary of the museum's founding.

The museum building has the status of a federal historical and cultural monument and was restored for Kirov's 650th anniversary. Installation of the new gates is planned to be completed in mid-November.
