Oleg Valenchuk has been awarded the Honorary Badge "For Services to the Development of Parliamentarianism".

      Oleg Valenchuk was elected a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation four times in a row, starting in 2007; he is a member of the United Russia faction and a member of the Committee on Natural Resources, Property and Land Relations. His focus traditionally includes issues of social policy, support for horticulture and vegetable gardening, development of the agro-industrial complex, ecology and nature conservation.

      The State Duma Honorary Badge "For Merits in the Development of Parliamentarism" is a recognition of the merits of deputies, state and public figures who have made a special contribution to the development of legislation and parliamentarism in the Russian Federation, the strengthening of democracy and the constitutional order, and the protection of the rights and freedoms of Russian citizens.
