Links to a channel showing animal torture are appearing in Kirov school chats.

Parents of Kirov schoolchildren turned to the People's Front after a link to a Telegram channel with videos of torture and the killing of cats began circulating in school chats. According to civic activists, the videos posted on the channel are "hard to watch even for an adult with a healthy psyche." At the same time, the clips were getting about 4,000 views. An investigation showed that the videos are real and were not created using neural networks. Particular concern is raised by the fact that the channel's author is actively looking for "like-minded people" among teenagers, urging children to message him directly and join in the abuse of animals. He himself calls animals "biowaste." According to parents, this is already the third such channel. Previous pages were also blocked after user complaints, but new ones appeared soon after. This channel has now also been blocked; however, according to the People's Front, its organizers may be located in Ukraine. Civic activists urged parents to be especially vigilant — to discuss such incidents with their children and to monitor what content they view on their phones. "We must understand how sophisticatedly the enemy acts in trying to influence the minds of the young citizens of our country," the People's Front said in a statement.
