According to the Bank of Russia, inflation accelerated in the Kirov region in September. Prices rose by 0.62% compared with August, and the annual rate reached 9.86%. This is higher than the national average (7.98%). Price increases were recorded for services, non-food goods, and food products. Over the year, non-food goods rose in price less than food products and services. According to the regulator, the price growth is linked to higher costs for producers and suppliers, which were passed on to retail prices, as well as to a reduction in fuel supply on the domestic market.
