Offline navigator for drivers: trips without internet interruptions
The feature for Yandex.Taxi drivers is available across all of Russia, reports atas.info. To use it, you only need to download the map of the required city in advance via the navigation section in the app. After downloading, the route continues to work without an internet connection — now, when there are connectivity failures, you don't have to switch to other apps.
The offline navigator complements other tools for drivers — for example, free Wi-Fi hotspots, which are already available in 30 cities across the country at more than 70,000 locations. This set of features helps drivers work comfortably even in conditions of unstable internet coverage.
