A corgi was brought to one of Kirov’s veterinary clinics with a suspected foreign object in its esophagus. After an endoscopic examination, doctors' fears were confirmed — a chewed-up hookah mouthpiece was stuck in the dog’s stomach. Specialists performed a minimally invasive procedure and successfully removed the object without surgical intervention. The pet is now feeling well. Endoscopy helps veterinarians "look inside" an animal’s body and provide assistance without the need for complex surgery, the "Together with a Faithful Friend" vet center reported.
