This morning, October 14, a fire broke out in a private house in Prosnitsa, Kirovo-Chepetsky District. The homeowners were not at home at the time. Thirteen emergency responders and five vehicles from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) promptly arrived on the scene. They extinguished the fire over an area of 40 square meters. There were no injuries.
An investigator from the Russian EMERCOM is currently establishing the circumstances of the incident and the extent of the damage. Several possible causes of the fire are being examined, including a brought-in source of ignition.
