Motorists have been urged to be more attentive on the roads due to deteriorating weather.

A drop in air temperature and heavy rain are forecast in the Kirov Region. In this regard, vehicle drivers are urged to exercise particular caution on the roads.
The regional traffic police offered the following advice to motorists:
- check the condition of your tires; they should be appropriate for the season
- reduce your speed and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead
- avoid sudden maneuvers and do not brake sharply
- be attentive on turns and descents
- watch road signs and obey traffic rules
