The major overhaul of a 10.4-kilometre section of the Kyrchany — Nema — Kilmez highway in Nemsky District is nearing completion, the government reported. Contractors SU-43 and Vyatavtodor removed the old pavement, installed a drainage layer of sand and crushed stone, laid three layers of asphalt concrete, installed culverts, and also put in new bus stops and streetlights. They are currently working on finishing elements needed to ensure road safety.
In the Kirov Region the major overhaul of the Falenki — Levany road is coming to an end. In Sunsky District a three-kilometre section of road is being improved.
