      Compared with its neighbors in the Volga Federal District, Kirov Oblast remains in the lower part of the ranking. The average offered salary there is 62.3 thousand rubles — 11th place among the region’s districts. Leading are Tatarstan (77.3 thousand rubles), Bashkortostan (75.3 thousand) and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast (70.9 thousand rubles).

      Nevertheless, analysts note a positive trend: salaries in Kirov Oblast are rising in many industries, especially in construction, manufacturing and services. The region is gradually narrowing the gap with the more affluent subjects of the district.
