At a level crossing in Novovyatsky District, a train fatally struck a man.

      Yesterday evening, October 11, a train ran over a man at the pedestrian crossing over the railway in the Novovyatsky district. This is reported by local Telegram channels.

      It happened at the crossing that serves as a passage from one part of the Novovyatsky district to another — at the terminus of bus 46 and the transfer to route No. 41. Official sources have so far remained silent, even though a day has already passed since the incident.

      Recall that in the spring, when this crossing was first opened, Newsler.ru went to the site to check how comfortable it is for local residents to get from one part of the Novovyatsky district to another. Incidentally, some people we met along the way were outraged that there is a short section at the crossing that is not fenced off from the tracks: “What if, in a crush, someone falls right under the wheels of a train,” a woman said at the time.
