Sokolov on the tunnel: "If there are no force majeure events, it will be completed earlier"
According to Alexander Sokolov, he recently personally visited the construction site where the tunnel is being built. The governor reminded that this work began in the spring. It is being carried out around the clock, with 87 workers on site. They have already completed site preparation, begun relocating utility networks, and are constructing pits and a retaining wall for the protective screen.
Under the contract, the tunnel is planned to be completed by December 2027. However, Sokolov noted that, barring force majeure circumstances, the contractor will finish it earlier.
It should be noted that the governor did not comment on recent reports in Kirov channels that on the evening of October 11 a man was run over by a train at the crossing at the railway crossing in Novovyatsk. We wrote about this here.
