Three new Russian citizens who had not registered for military service were found in Kirov.

On October 10, another interagency inspection of compliance with migration laws was held in Kirov. Investigators from the military investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov garrison, together with the police, inspected one of the city's construction sites. According to the law, men of conscription age who have obtained Russian citizenship are required to register for military service within two weeks after taking the oath. However, as the inspection showed, not all newly minted citizens comply with this requirement. During the raid officers identified three citizens who had not registered for military service. According to the department's representatives, such checks are carried out across the country — in places where former migrants who have received Russian passports work: markets, warehouses, retail outlets and construction sites. In Kirov Oblast, several dozen such violations have been identified since the beginning of the year, and their number is approaching one hundred. All identified citizens have been registered for military service, and seven of them have signed contracts and are serving in the military, including in the area of the special military operation.
