Teenagers in Kirov Oblast were banned from going out at night.

From October 1 to April 30, adolescents under 16 are prohibited from being in public places from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM without adult accompaniment, the Commission on Juvenile Affairs of the Leninsky District of Kirov reminded.

The ban covers streets, parks, cafés, building entrances, shopping centers, train stations, children's and sports playgrounds, as well as nightclubs and computer clubs. An exception is made if the adolescent is returning from school, an after-school club, or an official event and can document this.

Parents or guardians are held responsible for violations. They face a fine of 500 to 1,000 rubles, and in some cases administrative detention for up to five days and the family being put on record. Parents may also be summoned to the school for a preventive meeting.
