Kirov residents want pensions of 48,000 rubles.

      Residents of Kirov believe that a decent pension in the current circumstances should amount to 48,400 rubles per month. Interestingly, compared with the beginning of the year, Kirov residents' expectations have risen — in February city dwellers named a comfortable amount of 47,600 rubles, and a year ago — 46,400 rubles. For comparison, the national average stood at 49,800 rubles, which is 4% higher than in the summer of 2024 and almost 41% more than nine years ago. Notably, according to the survey, men assess a decent pension at 50,300 rubles, and women at 49,400 rubles. At the same time the most "ambitious" expectations are among respondents aged 35 to 45 (51,500 rubles). Young people under 35, by contrast, are prepared to "live more modestly" — 48,300 rubles per month. Those who have already passed the 45-year mark consider an optimal pension to be 50,800 rubles. Higher education also affects appetites — degree holders would like to receive 51,200 rubles, while citizens with secondary vocational education — 50,100 rubles.
