The results of the "Let's Decorate the Motherland with Flowers!" competition among organizations have been announced.

The contest’s motto “Only he who has multiplied beauty in the world through labor and struggle — has lived life beautifully” reflects the philosophy of its participants — gardeners and floriculturists who put their soul and love of the land into their projects. Throughout the entire summer they carefully tended the plants, documenting every stage of the work — from preparing the plot to creating a flowering flowerbed.

This year more than 600 entries were submitted to the contest from educational institutions, organizations of people with disabilities, veterans’ organizations, and cultural and sports institutions from the city of Kirov and the Kirov region. The jury faced a difficult task: to choose the best of the best. The participants demonstrated creativity and originality, which made selecting the winners particularly difficult. Sometimes only hundredths of a point separated participants from a prize place.
