It has become harder to find a job in Kirov Oblast.
According to the study, in September local companies posted just over 7,000 vacancies, which is 23% fewer than a year ago. At the same time, the number of résumés rose by 32%, and the competition index reached 4.9 — that is, almost five active candidates per vacancy.
At the moment the largest share of openings is for blue-collar workers (33%), sales and customer service (21%) and manufacturing (20%). Specialists in construction and real estate, logistics, the service sector and retail are also in demand — these areas account for over 90% of the entire job market in the Kirov region.
Full-time employment still dominates the market — about 4.2 thousand openings — however their number has fallen by a third over the year. Part-time employment, by contrast, grew by 40% month-on-month despite an overall year-on-year decline. Remote work is losing ground — the number of such vacancies decreased by 41%, but a small rise was recorded in September (+4%). Rotational work is showing recovery — up 32% year-on-year and 11% month-on-month.
Experts note that median salaries in the Kirov region have increased in almost all employment formats. The largest rise is in project-based work (from 70,000 to 86,200 rubles, +23%). For full-time employment — from 63,800 to 76,500 rubles (+20%), and for part-time — from 61,300 to 71,400 rubles (+16%).
Interestingly, remote work, despite the decline in the number of vacancies, has become noticeably better paid — from 50,000 to 64,800 rubles (+30%).
