Since February 5, 2025, a deportation regime has been applied to foreigners unlawfully staying in the country. It provides for the restriction of certain rights and the inclusion of violators in a special register until the moment of deportation or legalization.
After the expiration of the presidential decree that allowed temporary regularization of status without leaving the country, police conducted inspections in the Kirov region and identified three violators. Two of them were placed in a temporary detention center pending deportation, and another left Russia of his own accord.
The agency stressed that inspections and monitoring of foreigners' stay in the region will continue.
