Rahim Azimov discussed joint projects with a veterans' organization.

Particular attention was paid to the conversation with the chair of the Kirov Oblast veterans' organization, Irina Anatolyevna Shubina.

The deputy congratulated her and all representatives of the older generation in the region on the Day of Respect and Wisdom, expressed gratitude for many years of cooperation, and wished them health and well-being.

During the meeting the results of their joint work were summed up. Among this year’s most significant projects are the inter-district competition "Poems Read by Veterans," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory, and the project "Masters of the Vyatka Region," aimed at preserving folk crafts and decorative and applied arts.

Irina Shubina presented a new initiative — the inter-district project "We Honor Our Native Land," dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kirov Oblast. The project provides for holding review-competitions of creative collectives and performers from 22 districts of the oblast, culminating in a gala concert in Kirov. Rakhim Azimov supported the initiative and expressed his readiness to provide the necessary assistance in its implementation:

"The older generation are our teachers and mentors. Young people must have a direct connection with them, and such projects help strengthen and preserve it. We will certainly support the initiative and ensure that the necessary funds are secured for its implementation," the deputy said.
